MAKING TRIVETS FROM WINE CORKS:
Join us for an engaging adult workshop led by Bob Carl, where you will create beautiful trivets from repurposed wine corks! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the techniques needed to craft unique and functional trivets that add a personal touch to your home decor.

Classes will be held on Thursdays, July 24 and 31, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The cost for this creative experience is just $20.

YOUTH ROCK PAINTING CLASS:
Join us for a creative and fun-filled morning at our Youth Rock Painting Class!
Date: Saturday, July 26

In this class, young artists will have the opportunity to transform smooth river rocks into beautiful pieces of art. Participants are encouraged to bring a few of their own smooth river rocks to paint.
All painting supplies, including a variety of paints and brushes, will be provided. No previous painting experience is needed—just bring your imagination and creativity!

ART TALK AND PRESENTATION:
This Saturday, July 26, from 2 -3:30pm, we are excited to present Jo Ann Campbell, a Photographer, Tug Boat Safety Inspector, and Adventurer. She will be giving a humorous and entertaining lecture on travel in Alaska. The talk will include Mushing Mishaps, Moose Encounters and Northern Lights. Snacks and Beverages to follow.
Stop in and share the fun with her and explore the “Pop-Up” exhibition showcasing her stunning photography, titled “Alaska.” The Show will be on display July 27.
Stop by and visit or volunteer at our booth at the Rhythm and Ribs booth Aug. 1- 2 to find out about more classes and events this fall.

Annual Members Show titled ” TREES“
July 31st through August 31st
We invite members to submit their work for our upcoming Annual Member Exhibition, which features a variety of artistic categories, including Photography, Drawings and paintings, Mixed Media, and Written Word. This year’s theme is TREES. You may submit any work inspired by Trees. There will be a People’s Choice and Other Award Categories for Creative Expression.
Submission Details:
Drop-off Dates: Please bring your artworks for submission on July 24, 26, or 27 during regular business hours. Make sure to prepare your pieces for display. We look forward to showcasing your creative talents and are excited about the submissions.
Opening Reception:
Join us for an exciting opening reception on August 9, from 5 PM to 8 PM. This event will celebrate our artists’ diverse talents and allow attendees to mingle, discuss the artworks, and cast their votes for the People’s Choice Award. Open to members and friends, this year’s reception will feature a potluck with raffles and prizes for the favorite appetizer, side dish, and dessert. Sloppy Joes and beverages will be provided.
Come and enjoy an evening with fellow members and friends.

We have other areas you may enjoy while in the building including the gallery and gift shop.

EXERCISE YOUR WRITES
We talk Writing and Poetry and Illustration. We share our works in a round table discussion. We also offer monthly prompts to be used to stir our imaginations. Create a Story of approximately 1000 words. Write in any style (poetry, prose) and any genre (Drama, Thriller, Sci-Fi, Comedy, etc.) or create an illustration using the prompts as inspiration. Join us and share your work.
We’re excited to let you know that we’ll be moving our meeting time starting in March to the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m. We hope this change makes it easier for more members and guests to join us! It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together, unleash our creativity, and share our love for art in a supportive atmosphere. Looking forward to seeing all of you there!

This get together will take place on the 4th Wednesday of the month starting from 1:30 till 3:30. The idea is to break up the week for older adults to talk Art, Quilting, and associated passions. Join us for a fun filled afternoon of fun filled talks, without the worry of driving at night.

We offer youth education classes.
Zart: Classes designed to increase the youth’s knowledge and enjoyment of art.
Home School Classes: Providing art education to supplement the home school student
Open Studio
The LVAG London Arts Center hosts Open Studio every Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm Members, and the public are welcome. Bring your current project or start a new project,. It’s a great time to work and mingle with other artists.
Memberships
We rely on membership support to offer classes and workshops at reasonable costs. For $2.08 a month, less than the cost of a gas station coffee, you can join in all the fun and help us bring wonderment and joy to our community through art and friendship.
Memberships make a great gift for birthdays, Christmas, or whatever festive occasion.
