Hello Members 

Plumbing Update

The city has informed us that the repairs are scheduled to begin in early November. We are excited to hear this news. We will be back to business as usual very soon.

Writers and Illustrators Meeting

This month’s writing and illustration prompts are: 

The Winds of November and Time

Create a Story of approximately 1000 words. Write in any styie (poetry, prose) and any genre (Thriller, Sci-Fi, Comedy, etc.) or create an illustration using the prompts as inspiration. Join us and share your work.

Next Meeting November 10th @ 4:00pm

LVAG Board Meeting

The November and December LVAG Board meeting will be combined with the Writers and Illustrators group meeting. The meeting will take place December 8th after the Writers and Illustrators group meeting at 6:00 pm.

LVAG Year End Potluck 

LAVG Annual Pot Luck

After the Writers Group Meeting and the Board Meeting, we will hold the annual pot luck along with the meeting. Prizes will be awarded for: Best Appetizer, Best Side Dish, and Best Dessert. Beverages and Main course will be provided by the LVAG.

Learn how to restore your machine to sew smoothly and maintain good habits.

This show is open to members who have participated in one or more of the classes or workshops given at the LVAG. Works do not have to have been completed during the classes but should reflect knowledge gained from taking the class. We want to see what you learned and how that knowledge improved your art.

Sonic Sketches

Meeting will resume in January due to scheduling conflicts around the holiday season.

The LVAG Sonic Sketches meet on the fourth Thursday of the month from 6 – 8 pm at the LVAG Arts Center

Dust off those instruments and come jam or just hang out.

London Visual Arts Guild Board meets the fourth Tuesday of the month 7-8pm

Youth Classes

We offer youth education classes. 

Zart: Classes designed to increase the youth’s knowledge and enjoyment of art.

Home School Classes: Providing art education to supplement the home school student

Open Studio

The LVAG London Arts Center hosts Open Studio every Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm. Members and the public are welcome. Bring your current project or start a new project—a great time to work and mingle with other artists. 

Membership Dues

A reminder to please remit your membership dues if you have not done so yet. We have a great many events and activities being planned. It’s a great time to renew or get a friend to join. We welcome everyone.
