THERE IS ALWAYS A SOLUTION As most of you know, the London Arts Center is experiencing plumbing and sewer problems. We have had to cancel our picnic and several classes and events. Because we lease the building from the city of London we must wait while they obtain the necessary paperwork to get the problem fixed. Until the issue can be resolved, they will install Porta Potties at the Center for use so we can resume classes and events. Although we have canceled our previously scheduled yearly picnic until next year, we will have free pizza and pop at our

LVAG Member Emergency News 9/6/2023 Hello Members Due to the ongoing sewer troubles we are experiencing at the center, we will be canceling and rescheduling a few events. The center will remain closed until the issues are resolved. The city believes they have found the problem, and work is underway to fix the issue. We will update you as soon as we have information. The Writers and Illustrators group meeting this Friday is canceled. The group will meet next month on the second Friday at 4:00. September 19th Zart Art is canceled. The Arts Center is having a plumbing problem and limited use of water. In addition Colleen has acquired 2 swollen fingers while walking her dogs. That rascal rabbit jumped out, in front of us and things got tangled 😂 Hopefully September 26th class will go on as scheduled.

We have been invited by The Chamber Of Commerce to provide paintings for 34 tables (Part of centerpiece decor for huge Business event). Paint in autumn colors, animals, landscape, birds, flowers, etc. Bring pictures, cutouts, anything traceable. The Member 6x6 Project Show was a great sucess. We’ve had a great many member’s ask to participate if we hold it again. Stay tund for more info on next years show schedule.
